MANILA, Philippines — Several cities in Metro Manila suspended afternoon classes on Friday due to heavy rains brought by Tropical Depression "Isang" and the intensified southwest monsoon.

Muntinlupa, Parañaque, and Las Piñas suspended classes for the day.
